07 October 2019

What a month September was! Ferrari re-emerged from the shadows to take not only its first race win of the year, but to take three of the four victories in September. Marc Marquez made it look effortless in MotoGP as he edged ever closer to his fifth world title and following the release of both F1’s confirmed, and MotoGP’s provisional 2020 schedules, here at Motorsport Live we’ve had a flurry of interest with an-ever growing list of 2020 races available. Get up to speed on all our latest news and developments here.

F1's return from the summer break, saw Charles Leclerc confirm his No.1 place at Ferrari. A bitter sweet win in difficult circumstances at Spa, which was followed up by a commanding win in Monza just one week later. In Singapore having taken the pole, tyre strategies and the undercut denied him making it three-from-three, losing out to Ferrari team mate Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari had the opportunity to make it four in Russia, but internal politics and MGU-K failures, put pay to that, gifting Mercedes its first one-two since the British GP, and putting them in touching distance of their sixth world title in as many years. Wow.

The action wasn't reserved for just the F1 either. MotoGP took in 'fan favourite' destination Mugello for the San Marino GP alongside its third visit to its spiritual home Spain, for the Aragon GP. Marc Marquez took both in emphatic style, as he edges ever closer to his sixth premier class world title. With action right through the field, whilst the championship seems to look sewn up, the fight for runner-up spot is very much still alive.
